There's some exciting Adventures in Odyssey news out today. Although Album 66: Trial by Fire has yet to air on the radio, we're now learning new information about the next album. Thanks to the blog Welcome to Odyssey, we can reveal that the title of Album 67 will be More Than Meets the Eye. This news was apparently revealed in an email from an Adventures in Odyssey writer and director, none other than Nathan Hoobler himself. Nathan also mentioned that "one of the themes is that things aren’t always what they seem" and that one of the episodes is currently titled A Sacrificial Escape. Also, there will be a multi-part episode, the character of Wyatt from Album 65 will return at some point, and the Morrie Rydell saga will continue. Album 67: More Than Meets the Eye is expected to release on the AIO Club in July of this year and then come out via digital download, CD, and radio airings this fall.
In the past Adventures in Odyssey albums had four CDs each, and recently the packaging was altered so that new album releases have just two CDs and a total of six episodes. That's not a lot if you're thinking about going on a road trip for spring break. But never fear. A new special collection called the Adventures in Odyssey Megapack is on its way. It will include a whopping total of seventy-five episodes on twenty-five CDs. That's over thirty hours of family-friendly entertainment. Invest in this spectacular super-sized set of beautifully produced Odyssey episodes and you'll never have another boring carpool drive again! You can immerse yourself in imagination-stretching, faith-building fun with Connie, Eugene, and the whole gang at Whit's End. This special collection will be released on March 1st and is currently available for preorder.
If you haven't had a chance to pick up your own copy of the first two books in the new Blackgaard Chronicles series, there's no better time than now. The books take another look at the schemes of Dr. Regis Blackgaard from a new angle, filling in the gaps that the audio series skipped over. Book one is called Opening Moves and book two is Pawn's Play. And book three, Cross-check, will be released on March 5th, less than a month away. Want to find out more about the book series? The Adventures in Odyssey team is probably the best qualified to discuss this subject. Go ahead and check out the video below to hear from writer Phil Lollar and others about these new and exciting books from Focus on the Family.

Porchlight Family Media, the same network that brings you the podcast Audio Theatre Central every month, has launched a new audio drama called Greenhorn Tales. Greenhorn Tales is a show about two young guys, Cam and Nick, living in the small community of Bristol. They share an apartment and are desperately trying to be adults, but are not quite succeeding. They are complete greenhorns at adult life. So far Porchlight Family Media has released the series pilot, titled Moving, Motorcyles and Marching Bands. In the pilot episode of this series, we find Nicholas and Cameron on moving day. As they make their way to secure their new apartment it seems like everyone and everything in town is doing its best to keep them from getting to the Riverview Apartments on time. It will soon be available on the AIO Club later this month, come out on digital download in February, and then on CD in March. Last year Focus on the Family released the Adventures in Odyssey Bible. The translation it uses is the New International Readers Version, which is perfect for readers in AIO's target age range of 8-12. In addition to the biblical text, the AIO Bible also includes plenty of Odyssey content such as Whit's Wisdom, Candid Conversations with Connie, Wooton's Fun Facts, Jason's Jargon, book introductions from Eugene, colorful illustrations and maps, and more. And now, a New Testament edition has been released, including all the extra Odyssey-related special features. It is currently available for purchase, just in time for Christmas.
